What Orbilu is
Orbilu is a spaced-repetition language-learning service. Vocabulary, example sentences, and study material are generated with AI and scheduled by a memory model tuned to your reviews.
Your account
Keep your account information accurate, and keep your account to yourself — one person per account. You're responsible for activity that happens under your login.
Subscriptions and trials
Orbilu is free while it is in beta. We will tell you before billing starts, and beta members keep the founding price. After that, Pro is a monthly or annual subscription handled by Stripe. You can cancel anytime; your access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
AI-generated content
Study material is generated by AI. It's good, but it isn't perfect: generated examples may occasionally contain errors, and nothing in Orbilu should be treated as professional translation or certified language instruction.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no scraping or reselling generated content at scale, and no using it for anything unlawful.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
Orbilu is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we'll flag it in the app or by email; continuing to use Orbilu after a change means you accept the updated terms.
