Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and a password hash (managed by Supabase Auth — we never see your password), your name if you provide one, and your learning profile: the languages you're learning, your goals, and your daily targets.

As you study, we store your study data — your vocabulary cards, review history, and assessment results. This is the memory model that makes spaced repetition work, and it belongs to you.

If you subscribe, we store your payment status. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.

Who processes your data

We use a small set of processors, each for one job:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Anthropic — Claude generates vocabulary and example sentences from your target language, level, and learning goal. No personal identifiers are sent.
• Google Cloud — synthesizes pronunciation audio. Only the word text is sent.
• Stripe — payments.
• Vercel and Render — hosting.
• Vercel Analytics — aggregate, cookieless usage analytics on this website.

Your rights

You can download a full export of your data (JSON) and permanently delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. Deletion removes your account, deck, and review history permanently. You can also reach us by email for any data request.

We do not sell your data. Ever.
